Curious how this knife was created? Here we go:
It all commences with a jolly good cup of tea.
Designing, hammering, hardening and grinding the blade not to forget hoping that it’ll do the job.
The handle is drawn, pre-shaped and fitted to the tang.
Selecting the proper material for the guard.
Design rules! In this case desert iron wood is selected.
Trimming the handle to a snug fit.
The marriage! A "ménage à trois" to be precise.
Temporarily screwed together for modelling the continuous outlines and smoothing the edges.
Fine-sanding the wooden handle.
Final treating of the wood.
The very last polishing process with duct-taped blade.
Riveting the tang, butts and bolsters, leather sheath.
Everything’s done …. so am I.
