ReDesign of my logo
Bayreuth | January 2010.
When I started my career as Wieland the Bladesmith I had pondered a lot about the graphical appearance of my logo. This logo was supposed to reflect as many aspects of my work as possible. I have talked about that on the portrait site of my homepage.
When using my logo e.g. while stamping my forge-mark or while carving I noticed that a somewhat rounder and more compact contour of my logo would be simply more fitting. For plain pragmatic reasons I’ve eventually made up my mind to standardize my logo graphically and practically.
